About me

As a Heilpraktiker I combine scientific knowledge and modern diagnostics with a functional and holistic approach. For me, the focus is on understanding health connections, searching for possible causes and providing individual support.

My scientific focus areas are cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology and molecular biology. After my doctorate at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in association with Heidelberg University, my scientific work took me for one year to an institute with a biochemical focus at the University of Arizona in Tucson, USA.

For more than 35 years I worked at Abbott Diagnostics in research, development and quality management of diagnostic products, including many years in leadership positions. My work comprised the development and optimisation of modern diagnostic methods and is documented by more than 120 scientific publications and congress contributions.

Today I combine this scientific and diagnostic experience with the principles of functional and holistic medicine. My aim is to make health connections understandable, to identify possible causes of complaints and to accompany you individually on your path to greater health, vitality and quality of life.
